Larry Gifford: The PD and Podcaster
Updated: Dec 11, 2019
Larry Gifford has worked at great radio stations across the U.S.A. like KIRO in Seattle and Sports radio 710 ESPN in LA. After a stint in consulting, he found his way north to CKNW in Vancouver where he watched the American Election of a lifetime unfold from the other side of the border.
Larry also has a podcast called “Radio Stuff”
which is now out of hibernation and sponsored by the same people who support this podcast -
I also asked him about his home state of Ohio - and why is serves as the American political barometer; and we shared our podcast knowledge with one another.
The podcast is brought to you by NLogic and their new cloud based application lens. NLogic recently unveiled the new campaigns and schedules portion of the program. Lens removes significant manual work from re-keying campaign data and schedules, to exporting files and pdfs - leaving you more time to make money. In short - the agencies can send broadcast sales people requests for submission - and you can start creating schedules based on those campaign parameters, all within lens. From there, you can use Lens to submit the schedule for approval and soon you will be able to trade back and forth until you are ready to book. NLogic listens to both buyers and sellers in order to make the process go as smoothly as possible - and the latest update reflects that. For a free trial, click on the banner.
